Wait, is the question about all queer cinema/TV, or "Bottoms" in particular? I think it depends on the media! "Bottoms" was certainly better than the last "straight" high school comedy I watched, though I'm not sure what that would have been... I liked "Booksmart," but to me, it was funnier than even that!

Do you think:
1. It's more like an after-school special, teaching the audience about queer lives in general?
2. It's just as good as hetero romance/drama/comedy stories.
3. It's better than hetero romance/drama/comedy stories.
